Introduction to the catalog of locations / properties
One of the first steps for the implementation of the MP consists of generating a catalog where the areas of the company's real estate are registered, which in addition to constituting the physical location of the equipment, may be subject to maintenance.
The Catalog of locations / properties has a double function:
First. The areas of the company's buildings that we register in the catalog may be linked to a preventive maintenance plan and be subject to non-routine work such as repairs and improvements reported in the MP.
Second. The catalog of locations allows to complement the information of the equipment by relating each equipment with its respective physical location.
The catalog is structured in a tree-like manner by levels, allowing to represent in a logical way the distribution of all the areas of a company, whether it is an industrial plant, hotel, hospital, building, etc.
EXAMPLE: The refrigeration area is located in the cafeteria kitchen, located on the ground floor of the administrative building.
