Introduction to the catalogue of tools
The first step for the implementation of Control tools is to create a catalog that contains all the tools that are handled in their stores.
Within the module Tools you will be able to document and to consult all of the information about the tools:
- Description of the tool with up to 140 characters
- Barcode
- Unit (Piece, game, etc)
- Classification 1
- Classification 2
- Technical specifications
- Images
- Attachments (technical specifications Sheets, user manuals, characteristics, etc)
- Stock in the different warehouses
- Unit cost
- Location in each warehouse
- Levels-in-store minimum, maximum, and optimum
- Date of last movement
- Date of the last time you bought
- Kardex movements
- Etc.
To enter the tools module select Tools in the Main menu the Control program and tools. The display shows the catalog. In this module, you can append the new tools, modify, and drop tools.
View the catalog tools
Like all the apps in the suite, the application Control tools allows you to sort, filter and group the information from a large number of different ways, whether it is for a consultation or for the generation of a printed report, allowing you to quickly locate a tool or group of tools regardless of the size of the database. Once the information is organized on the screen, you can print the same thing you are seeing.
Submenu catalog of tools
In the submenu of the module of Tools, you will find all the possible actions to perform with the selected tools.
For example:
If you select one or more tools and then the action from the submenu “Stores and stocks started”, the program will show you the stores in which it is active, each tool selected, and from there you can edit the stocks and start-up costs in your store in the form of a mesh.
