What are warehouse vouchers?

Warehouse vouchers are documents generated in the MP in order to be exchanged for spare parts and consumables that will be used in maintenance activities.

The warehouse vouchers are linked to the Spare Parts Inventory program, in such a way that the vouchers generated in the MP are transferred to the Inventory program to be consulted and supplied by the maintenance personnel. In the same way, the information of the spare parts in the warehouse is shared with the MP in order to be able to consult the stocks and generate the warehouse vouchers.

Since the warehouse vouchers generated in the MP are transferred to the spare parts inventory program, the warehouseman can automatically load the materials contained in the voucher and generate the corresponding outbound movement without the need to recapture the information at the time of supply the voucher. Once the spare parts are supplied and used in maintenance activities, the process continues to record their consumption. (Consult voucher consumption)

Warehouse voucher inquiry

Maintenance personnel can view the voucher information in the Warehouse Voucher module. The module shows the generated vouchers with their folio number, the spare parts they contain and the state in which the voucher is found; requested, stocked or consumed.

Maintenance personnel can also check if the spare parts contained in the voucher are in stock through the submenu and the “check stock” tool.
