Introduction to the tool catalog
The first step in implementing Tool Control is to create a catalog that contains all the tools that are handled in your warehouses.
Inside the module Tools All the information regarding the tools can be documented and consulted:
- Description of the tool with up to 140 characters
- Unit (Piece, set, etc.)
- 1 classification
- 2 classification
- Technical Specifications
- Attached files (Technical specification sheets, user manuals, characteristics, etc.)
- Stocks in the different warehouses
- Unit cost
- Location in each warehouse
- Minimum, maximum and optimal warehouse levels
- Date of the last movement
- Date of last purchase
- Kardex of movements
- And many more
To enter the tools module select Tools at Main Menu of the Tool Control program. The catalog is displayed on the screen. In this module you can add new tools, modify and delete tools.

Like all applications in the MP suite version 10, the Tool Control application allows order, filter y Group information in a large number of different ways, either for a query or for the generation of a printed report, allowing to quickly locate a tool or group of tools regardless of the size of the database. Once the information is organized on the screen, you can print the same thing you are seeing.

In the submenu of the Tools module, you will find all the possible actions to be carried out with the selected tools.
If you select one or more tools and then the action of the submenu "Warehouses and initial stocks" the program will show you the warehouses in which each selected tool is active and from there you will be able to edit the stocks and initial costs in their corresponding warehouse in the form of mesh.
