How to release Licenses of the MP to assign to other computers?
In order to release Licenses of the MP version 9, Spare Parts Inventory or Tools Tracker programs, follow the steps described bellow:
- Run the Workstations Manager. (Start Button > All Programs > MPsoftware > Workstations Manager).
- The window named Workstations Manager will appear, showing a list of the MAC Addresses of all computers occuping a license of the MP linked to the same HASP Key.
- Click Delete to remove the selected record.
- Once the Workstations have been deleted, click Save the Information in the HASP key.
- Close the Wortkstations Manager program.
- To assign a license to a workstation you should setup the Hasp key Dongle.
The MAC Address is a unique identifier of the Network card or Netowrk device. Also is knowed as Physical Address and it is unique for each device.
We recommend reviewing the MAC addresses table and clear all computers that are no longer available.
For this example the computer with MAC Address: 00:2A:2B:3C:4D:5C of the Workstation named WRK-ST-03 is no longer available since 20/12/2011 can be removed.
