How to setup the HASP Key in a Network environment?
To perform the Hasp Dongle's setup you should be use the Web application named Sentinel HASP Admin Control Center.
Make sure that you satisfy the next requirements:
- The Server must have installed the Workstations Manager, as well the latest Update of the HASP Driver and the HASP Dongle inserted.
- The Client computer, must have installed the latest Update of the HASP Driver.
- Fluent networking communication between the Server where the HASP Key have been installed and the MP Client.
- The Port 1947 must be open by Windows Firewall at UDP and TCP Protocols, also the Antivirus must not block the communication flow.
Setting up the HASP dongle in a Network environment.
- From the client computer, enter to the Sentinel HASP Admin Control Center.. (Start Button > All Programs > MPsoftware > Sentinel HASP Admin Control Center).
- Click at Configuration and after this click Access to Remote License Managers tab.
- Verify that the option named Broadcast Search for Remote Licenses is not checkmarked.
- Into the Text box named Specify Search Parameters type the IP Address or the Server Name of the computer who has inserted the HASP key,(e.g. 192.168.111.111) and click at the Submit button to apply the configuration changes.
- In order to verify that the HASP key was found, click at Sentinel Keys option, after this you should see the HASP key information.
An Internet Browser will be open and will enter to the URL configuration address http://localhost:1947
