How to create an exception and open the Port 1947 in Windows Firewall?
The port 1947 is an access point used by the Sentinel HASP Admin Control Center to perform various actions related to the administration of HASP dongle.
To allow this program to communicate through port 1947, all you need to do is adding the program to the list of allowed programs (also called exceptions list) in Windows Firewall.
- To open Windows Firewall, click the Windows Start button then click Control Panel.
- Click at Security and then Windows Firewall.
- Click Allow a program through Windows Firewall.
- Click Add port.
- In the Name text field type: HASP
- In the Port number text field type: 1947
- Select the TCP protocol and click OK.
- Repeat steps 4-7 selected the UDP protocol.
IMPORTANT!
Administrator permissions are required. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
